I could use Flickr to post photos on a number of historical topics.  This would be an excellent way to show students instead of just telling them.  Putting pictures of things that the book is talking about.  I could see Flickr being used also to show pictures of documents or even to show power point files.

Some of the issues I could see is students not being able to access Flickr since it requires a sign up.  The possibility of not being able to upload enough photos for the month before hitting the cap on the free account.
