Thing 1 and Thing 2

I decided to participate in 23 things because I wanted to learn how to use these new technologies so that I can be a better teacher.  I must also admit that as a new teacher I wanted to get some new teacher professional development.  Since I have to get this time in what better way then learning about a topic that I love.  I very much enjoy technology and learning new technology.  As the course moves forward I hope to learn how to use new technology and also how I can incorporate them into my classroom.  

The video and the reading seem like they would be my ideal world.  Technology available easily and to everyone.  Being able to share and communicate easily would be wonderful.  Just having access to that kind of technology would be great.  These are the things that students of today expect.  Students must be engaged in what they are doing.

With the opportunity of everyone being able to read what one writes does put added pressure on me.  I must be sure that what I mean is what I write.  It is easy to be misunderstood or to be unclear.  I also feel that this kind of writing style would make me more able and want to communicate in this fashion.
